I sure do thank all y'all for the invites and well wishes, it's much appreciated. I wish I could stay out here and meet everybody. We went this morning with Trent and Cody, hogs hadn't been at the first place in awhile, but it was sure some  pretty woods. Second place was better, lots of sign and finally got on a hog. Dogs ran it for a good tour but never bayed it. Last place was much better for sure. Road was in bad shape and our truck being a full sized pickup wouldn't make down the rotten road. As Trent and Cody got to the curve in it, hogs ran across in front of them. Their dogs bailed of after them and the race was on. Cletis and I walked our dogs down close to Trent and Cody, and they struck more hogs. Let 'em go and they took out, I think they must have caught a pig, they stopped a second, Belle and Abby went on while Booger stayed put. Trent and Cody's dogs had left the country I reckon after the first two. Our digs were sore footed at the start of this from running the rocks down near Harper. That's the rockiest place I've ever hunted. Never seen anything like it. We finally got 'em all caught and called it a day. I sure do appreciate Trent and Cody taking us out today. We had a good hung and a good time. These boys are gonna have some real dogs before long. They just need a little time in the woods and they will be some stem-winders for sure. It was nice to get to meet Trent and his family after all this time. I want to thank him for keeping my pup for me and for taking time to carry us hunting. He's a good guy no matter what y'all say about him....! I'm just kidding, I wish we could stay and meet all y'all, but AL is calling me home and I'm headed that way in the morning. Thanks for all the hospitality, and we'll be back sometime. I'll post the story from south TX when I get home.
