We caught this boar hog this morning. He weighed about 125 lbs but had some nice cutters on him.  |

nice cutters! caught one like this in '06. not big only about 160lbs., but had 2 1/2 in teeth.

Got to hate those body like javelinas and run like them too. But when cornered will try and put a whoopin on your dogs cause they are alittle more athletic than your run of the mill hog.

Yep, those small boars with big teeth can really cut some dogs. We caught one a couple of years ago, was a yellow boar that weighed 140 lbs and had 3 1/4" teeth!! We were hunting public land and caught him with just two cur dogs. You can imagine my shock when I went running in and saw what they had caught and all I could see was dogs and teeth!! Luckily, neither dog was cut bad, but I have seen those small hogs really work on dogs as they are so quick.
