I like running walker and american bulldogs! Ruff running dogs!!! Sometimes they come out too catchy or suicidal.

I have a plott pit cross she was the only one that survived out of my litter And she is right around a year old and is a hog baying sob! She try's to catch but she got her jaw broke when she was smaller. She will burn a track down on mock hunts also. I have no complaints with her.

Pit/redbones work great as do redbone/American Bullodg, and American Bulldog/birddogs. Never owned a plott/pit but I have heard of them. They are called plitts.

Don't know about many but I got a 1/2 walker 1/4 pit 1/4 cur. he's 10 months. going deep. he looks like an English coon hound. sounds like pit/cur bark. not ruff till bulldog gets there. stays caught till you get there then lets go and watches tie hog up. not the sharpest tool in the shed. but making me a believer at 10 months old.

This is smoke, I believe he is redbone and I know for sure blue pit in him. He will find his own hogs and catch on his own also. He also has a very nice bark when out in the woods, and silent on trail, only barks if his looking at a hog.He can hold a boar till catch dogs get to him.

I had a small pit/plot gyp that was really good. Would find and catch alone. I've also had redbone/pits and loved them.

Have all in everyone's experiences been silent on trail? I want to try one but don;t want a barking trail dog.
