we sent the dogs from the edge of a pasture into the wood line against a creek. The dogs will usually go the direction we cast them, but when we turned them loose the made a sharp 90 and headed west into the open pasture at a good boogie. We sat there watching the garmins a little ticked off at dogs. 500.. 800....74mi then bam we hear a bay. So we jumped in the truck and headed towards them. We crossed a gate and drove threw cows and i heard a momma cow bawlin in the direction of the bay. Our dogs are cow broke but i was worried. We drove to 74 yards from the bay, and i thought we had a cow so i headed to get a look while my buddy got the bulldogs. I crossed a little branch and topped a hill and saw the dogs man handling something black that wasnt givin much of a fight. I thought oh man, they got a calf! Then it spun and i saw it was a hog. Man i felt better. Tracy just got there an we cut the bulldogs loose, ran in, legged it then noticed it was missing a front leg.
