First off what a dat blame day ! Brent and myself let dogs out around 9 I guess hell I dont even remember anyway dogs take off . Horn , ole Blu, Bell, Cracker and my young 13 month old Horn pup "Lil Red" and Brent brought his two youngesters they all take off hunt for a little bit . Then Ole Blu and Lil Red are no were to be found . Well wouldnt you know the collar Blu was wearing a DC 30 looses commucation and Lil Red had a Tracker Maxima collar on . Well I was so intent on finding out were ole Blu went to with no signal that I forgot that Lil Red was gone to so we look and wait for atleast a hour no sounds noting am already pissed off now. I been around to long and I know when one starts out like this look out . Well after about a hour Brent say hey Jimmy were is Lil Red and I had done forgot about him well Brent gets out his Tracker and gets a signal about 900 yds off so we head in that direction . Wind blowin like hell and cold cold . We get as far as we can go on the wheelers and listen noting so now most the dogs are tied on the wheelers except ole Blu, Bell and Lil Red and Brents two young dogs so we take off leaving my newphew to watch the dogs on the wheeler Horn Cracker and my catch dog Bo didnt want them to hang thereselves while we were gone. We walk about 150 yds and we hear some barking head to the barking and Lil Red and his grandmaw old blu are bayed getting down . We get over there and they got a good Red sow bayed and most likely caught LOL in some briars . Brent turn his catch dog loose and its a done deal. I was real real impressed with Lil Red he was there the whole time with his grandmaw blu atleast 45 mins a hour are more with the hog dont know which one found it . Well we get the sow and am looking for ole Blu the bitch done rolled out with no signal on the collar well SOB man dang . She is gone gone gone gone . We look and look and look and I drive and drive she is no were to be found . Then the garmin beeps got a signal for about 10 seconds on here so I head to it have to call land owners to get in . Well Brent is inbetween the trailer were we started my newphew is at the trailer and am on the far end trying to find her . No signal again dammit man I was cussing this 30. Well we meet back in the middle and me and Conner go to the other side way way off and Brent goes back to the trailer in case she comes back . Well the land owner shows up opens the gate and me and Conner go in and we ride and ride the wheeler all over this place noting for two three hours then Brent calls and says he has her she come back to the trailer . Good Gawd man !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From 9am and I just walk in the house at 5 are so !
There is no telling how man hogs this gyp bayed we just could not find are hear her. She is home now with feet swollen looks like she has a pair of nikes on man o man damn !
