We went driving around some fields just to have a look around. When we were on our way out, James (husband) stopped the truck at a cross road and said he thought there were some little pigs in the road about 250yards down. So we took off down the road towards them, when we got up there we saw 7 baby pigs huddled up in the road. The sow must have been shot in the state helicopter raid. All of the little pigs were different colors. Our son (Tyler) baled out of the truck and caught this little guy. We tried to catch more, but they scattered like rats.

Tyler holding the little pig and James holding Red and Rowdy.

Cute, Huh!

I was thinking the same thing last night when we caught him. We have 4 pups right now that I'm going to let them bay at him while he(hog) is in a dog cage we have him in. Just want to see what they will do when the see a live hog.

Mutthunter, just curious...at what age do you start your pups on a small pig? Or anyone for that matter?

Well, we put the little pig in the pen with our 21/2 month old pups. Took them a minute to figure it out, then they actually started to bay the pig! It was the coolest thing to watch. Grin We have high hopes for these pups. James posted a thread with video of them baying. It's so cute. Cheesy
