Keep em Straight and Keep em Yeller

Well the gang decided to take it back ole school style.....No Pits....and hunt the way we used to with all cur dogs...before the pit craze.
We assembled the spectrum pack to include the go yonder Yellers all the way down to our Yeller Cur catchdogs.

Through em out and waited for a bit. Rolled out lil over a mile and came up bayed.  Hog broke and finally settled for a good fight in a creek bottom.  I had two newbies on the ground to include a seven month old pup on his first big woods hunt and the 11 month old Yeller Kamakazi I purchased off of Nash couple weeks ago.

Got in decent close to the bay and turned Lamars Yeller, Chances Yeller and my new dog I named Crow loose.
Well I figured out why he got the name....Haha....... Lamars and Chances Kamakazis hit and locked....Ole Crow jumped off the creek bank 8 foot down landing on the hogs back and caught solid. Liked to have died laughing so hard....So props again to David Nash for selling me a flying Yeller Japanese dive bomber.   laugh

Anyways we had a helluva time getting big boy out of his hole and on dry ground but finally got him landed.  Good news is lil pup was there hammered and getting a mouthful with the rest.

Good hunt with good friends and great puppy training....with the old bull of the woods tied at the end.
And yes......you can catch hogs without PITS.   Wink

Enjoy boyz.

I wish they were mammoths, hopefully they will catch up before long.  They are filling out a little better.

Well Rube,
You know the game as well as anyone.    Gonna have gooduns...Gonna have baduns.........but your program is only as good as your culling method.

They might be better than some but will always be worse than someone elses.

Consistency and Conformity.  One will do...........but Two is always better than one.

At the end of the day everyone of em will make you curse.

Oooooooo those deep thoughts just gave me a migrane.    Never mind laugh

Culls are like cigarettes.......Smoke em if ya got em!   Evil
