What is the difference between a AKC reg. AMERICAN BULLDOG and a UKC reg. APBT. I've heard of a dog being dual registered? How is this. To me the single reg. AKC AMERICAN BULLDOG is a lot bigger than a APBT? Correct me if I'm wrong but is there a difference and what? I'm still on the fence of what I think.

Regardless of registry those are two totally different breeds.  AB_American Bulldog.......APBT_ American Pitbull Terrier.  Both I believe are recognized by numerous registries....not sure never had a purpose for bulldog paper

American bulldogs can not be AKC registered. Either nkc or Ckc. And like said above the American bulldog is a different breed. Not a pitbull. The American bulldog comes from the English bulldog and mastiff.
