Thats pretty cool. When I was a kid around Albany my dad helped Jeep Mcbride guide hunts over on the sloagn ranch(I know I misspelled that) across from the nail. I remember finding a bunch of points with my dad all over that place.

I know the ranch and i know Jeep Mcbride too...I grew up with his sons Brian and Jon and they are both good friends of mine..Jeep is a hell of a guy and a really good guide. I would love to have just half of his trophy room! Hey, That is a nice one. Dam near perfect. What other good stuff have you found on that property through the years?
I would have to go to my cousins house and dig out my great grandads box of stuff that he found. I know there are a bunch of tools and tons other arrowheads but i really need to go check al that stuff out. He used to tell stories of when he was a young kid and his dad would tell him to stay at the house and would walk town to the river..He says he would sneak out behind him and follow him to the edge of the hill and watch his dad talk with the indians and give them permission to camp down on our campgrounds at the river!

Now you're talking my language! I'm an artifact huntin' fool! Can't help but look at the ground. That's a nice little point you got. I'd probably call it a Scallorn. Here's a few I've found. Most are from southeast Texas. Some from south Texas or Missouri. Here's one of my favorite finds. A celt I found off the Sabine River. I find a lot of fossils also. Here's a 20+ million year old Rhinocerous toother I found in a creek. Hard day huntin'. Part of a mammoth tooth up top.

Well......I don't know about y'all,......but as for me, I'm more than a little impressed with this stuff you've found bobcat....I'm snakebit when it comes to Indian artifacts I reckon. Only found a few in all my wanderings in the wild.

My uncle found mammoth tusks. One full and one partial. If I'm not mistaken the full one crumbled but gee still has the partial and some molars
