 well my son has been waiting a long time for this , hes tried to shoot the shotgun for a few years but was just to much for him , opening day I called him in three birds , he shot twice and didnt see one , his head was hung low on the way home , the next day I took him and he got it done , smiling from ear to ear

Way to go Colton!! Good job buddy, I know you made your Dad proud!! And good job Bob for keeping that boy in the woods. I cant wait till my boy is old enough to take along on hunts!! I remember my first turkey like it was yesterday, it was the biggest thing Id ever killed besides a dove. But that was in TX and we could shoot turkeys with a rifle. So great job with the shotgun!!  Now the wait for turkey season to be over so Colton can get back to the important things......stickin hogs!!

thanks brandon , it was and still is hard to hold back the tears when I think about it , Im so proud of him , I was a little rough on him on the first three birds he missed  , he was let down and then I showed my A$$ and feel crapy about it , hes learning the ways of the woods and Im learning to be a better father and praying for patients ,
