Our kennels off the ground dont really smell where it drains....but now the ones on the ground will smell if I miss a day cleaning them. We try to keep shavings in the pens for them and that seems to help a bunch! And if you get cedar shavings its supposed to help with fleas. Thats what the old timers tell us!!!

Pour lime dust over where you spray off at once every week or two. Works VERY well.

I do this, not as often as i should tho, winter time isn't an issue but it gets worse as it gets warmer, i pour lime 2x's a month in the summer.

Our kennels are off the ground and my wife brought home this product from TSC called Fresh and Clean we spray every saturday and it seems to work no smell so far.  Have been using it for three months.
