Not a single dog of mine is let go without a quick track collar on em. Garmin fails all the time and can not be trusted what so ever. Quick track 6000 and quick track or marshal powermax collars are the best set up Ive seen. Ill get rid of the garmin before my quick track anyday.

I always used wildlife collars in the past. Never had a problem. As I've said before the Garmin is neat and handy but has failed me too many times. I've started to use my old system as back up also. Only downfall to me is that if you can't see the bay you may turn bulldogs from further than you think. I like to be within 100yds. With telemetry you might be 3-400 away and swear you were closer.

If I could do it over again it would be the MN-not as long range as some but the accuracy is the best...

I think garmin says the radio collars will possibly mess up the your garmin system. I need to dig it up in the book and see what it says about it

I put a Garmin and a Johnson Telemetry collar on each of my dogs, just in case the Garmin doesn't work. It hasn't affected the Garmin at all that I can tell.
