Id yall know that per dog rescue rules they can only be companions yhere is a dog in a local rescue that I would like to try and yep told no because they can only be companions lmao I told them they would have care food shelter and bred for what dogs were put on this earth to do and yep cant per rescue rules man this is a f.ed up world

I think I was able to decipher your post. There are a few in our area that will let you adopt or "re-home" dogs for hunting but most wont. My hunting partner will even get phone calls from a few shelters around here if the dogs look like they have scars from pigs on them to see if he wants them or knows someone that would. But for the most part they despise us.

Im pretty open that I hog hunt with dogs to people that I get a dog from my current pit cd lead in is a pound dog but im talking about rescues I guess they actually have rules etc for them. Just dont get it people that I know that hog hunt take a lot better care of their dogs than some I know that dont hog hunt just eirks me

Their organization , their rules. The dogs that haven't worked for me have all gone to pet homes. Except the one I gave you. Some were better the average hog dogs too. Just didn't do what I expect. The local pound to me will let you adopt but the rescue wants to do interviews.

Cantex forgot all about her she was an ok dog I gave her to a kid that shot over her did wel for h once she learned gun shots were not aimed for her she got into some type of poison that killed her and is vary severily missed this happened about a year ago

over the years got alot from pound...only down side is there all fixed. but never ask about house pet or working

yes that is true my yeller is fixed, wish he wasn't but it does work out with him being kenneled with my gyps

I know several people that get pits regularly around and re home them. People are here go through a lot of CD though.
