Smoked our Draws !

Well you cant win them all we got smoked this evening. Kyle , Conner and me dropped dogs out at about 5.45 pm this evening . Just got my reg crew with me Whitey, Horn, Hannah, Bell and the young Hound Dog. They blow out of there and go 950 yds and are treed before we can get wheelers cranked. We get there and just as we start in I guess the hog winded us a hell of a fight went on and he blows out goes 1.05 sets up for the fight and bay . We have to go all the way around bout the time we get there again and get within a 100 yds he blows out again this time going I think it was like 1.10 and bays again . Here we go again get there cannot even get close really you could hear him charge the dogs and he blows out again. I didn't take no RCD just the reg group. The smell from this boar would knock you off your feet he was a rank smelling son of a gun , we never seen him but after 5.52 miles of chasing baying fighting and everything else they got him bayed on top of what we call the mountain its a hell hole of a place and the people are not home so we cannot go in the proptery . I know these people well and they let me go in to get my dogs but told me do not , do not go in unless we are home and you see us first . Well no answer and not home so all we can do is sit there and listen to the music . Call and call and call and blow the whistle and finally they come out hot and exhausted, just damn lucky they didn't go on a all nighter , Thank God ! . No hog . Just got home not long ago .
