It seems once a rain comes theres no activity until 2-3 days later ?

I have always noticed them moving right after a rain. They like to roam around and root on fresh ground. Perhaps you are where they bed down and they go roam for a day or so after a rain and then come back home....

Yeah if it's a light rain, they're usually flipping dirt especially when it's hot.
But right after a rain or the next morning is when track hunting is at it's finest.
