We lost a dog Saturday July 20 while hunting on the V8 Ranch.  The place is about 12 or 15 miles below Shelbyville TX off of HWY 87. Lost communication with the dog and never was able to pick him back up.  He is a black and tan cur dog, his name is Newt.  Has a name and number on one collar and was also wearing a DC 30.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hope you find your dog man... Sad to say but go through and read some of the lost dog post and word of mouth... From orange tx - center tx I've heard of more dogs this year come up missing than ever in my life.. Best of luck to ya..

I appreciate it men.  I am sick about it, but haven't give up yet.  I'm still looking and have several people in the area looking and listening, maybe he will turn up somewhere.

I got a call last night at 8:30pm from some folks that had a PA phone number.  They were in visiting their Grandfather and Newt (my dog) had come up in the yard.  He was about 12 miles from where he was turned loose.  I am very thankful for these good people finding him.  He had lost a good bit of weight and his feet are sore, but we were both in high spirits on the ride home last night!

Glad you found him. Did he still have a tracking collar on him?

Yes, the collar was dead, but still there.
