I have a ROCK RIVER SACKETT AND SACKETT JR gyp thats 3yrs old and turning into a pretty good little hound. She is a hog dog and im wanting a pupout of before something happens to her. My dad said breed her back to a cur dog not another hound because she already goes miles and runs hours. What do y'all think i should breed to her? she is real rangy and has alot of hunt he suggested one of mike's dogs. Or his male dog. im about stumped on what to breed her too.

Breed her to one of those rangy dogs matt has. You'd still have plenty of range and a ton of hunt to em.

I think you first have to identify what type of pups you want.  I like hounds my self and I think you should breed her to a male that you really like a lot and not worry about whether it is a cur or not.  You are going to get everyones opinion on here, but the only one that matters is yours.  If it were me, I would try to breed to her a really rough plot that has a lot of range and hunt.  JMO

not much of a plott fan had quite a few. Im probally either breed tobthe hound this time or a cur still unsure. I really want a pup out of her because shes MY only hog dog i got rid of my cur gyp due to after she had her pups she never had the go in her after.
