Free feed her and I used to give formula for babys when I could get it for free. A lot of folks say them satin balls really put the weight back on them.Search "satin balls" on here.  You should be able to get victor pretty easy if your in splendooky.

yep just free feed her for a bit BUT the process is much easier accomplished if you maintain the weight on a gyp WHILE she is nursing . I all ways free feed a gyp with puppy food before during and after whelping a litter . I have actually had most my gyps need to be put on a diet after weening a litter of pups .

That's me Robert....I double feed from about a week before they drop till I start giving the pups their puppy food milkshakes ; )

I'd give her a normal feeding of adult food in the morning and a normal feeding of puppy food in the evening.

I had to cut her way back after she weaned the pups but with 9 pups, she never got drawn down.

well just make sure she's worm free tapes and all and it wouldn't hurt to put her on a round of anti-biotics for about three days .  go and get you some of the leg quarters [ chicken ] and give her one of them each day bones and all  RAW   and all the feed she wants to eat and she should come back to weight  .
