The cold weather broke yesterday (finally hit 34 above). I had to work today so I was up early and fed my pup and chickens. I left in the dark and I live at the top of a hill. It's about 400 yds down hill getting steeper as you go down. I did not do the due diligence. As I turned out the driveway and went down in 1st gear as always I unexpectedly started accelerating without stepping on the gas which made me tap the brakes which had the opposite affect that I wanted. At this point I couldn't slow down and I couldn't even steer and soon couldn't even see where I was going as my tailgate was trying to take the lead and even tho I can't see it any more I know there is a set of s curves at the bottom of this hill and a whole bunch of alder trees. Just before I hit the curves my front wheels which are perpendicular to my direction of travel hit the right ditch and quickly launch the rear of my truck forward into said ditch full of blackberry vines and it keeps spinnin till I am now going forward again and skid to a stop with 3 wheels still on the road. I set a minute and then pull the seat cover out of my buttcrack and then I wisely put it in 4 wheel driv and back up on the road. I get out and pull a few vines off the bumpers and don't find a scratch on the truck. Since I now can't get back up the hill cause of the black ice I go on to work.
