it is not a good habit for a dog to climb a tree he can fall out or get hung in the fork of a tree an break a leg

he was about 13 feet high

yes he was one of the best tree dogs that i have ever had or hunted with he died a couple weeks back of somkind of tumor between his lungs and heart

number 2ty deal man! Keep all the memories he left you with. I definately will not forget him he is the first dog I ever seen climb a tree to get his job done.

Ive read several articles of lion hunters speaking of how special and rare a good bobcat dog is! I think I see one in a tree! Grin
