I got this dog with my buddy thinking we would like to run a hound with our dogs ain't my style this is what I can tell you bout the dog. He is open when hog breaks semi open when he is on track before its bayed after that he will open up every hundred yards or so he has found 7 or so hogs in the short period I have hunted him he is gritty with other dogs will catch if another dog does. He hunts out 200 to 1/2 mile just hunting he is not slow by any means just not as fast as my lacy this causes the problem don't know if he is 100% trash broke hasn't messed with cows so I can't promiss anything I just haven't seen him trash. He ran one with my lacy twice over 3 miles and another over 4 so I think he's bottom is good.
