Its kinda funny to see when it happens. But when my CD catches after i pull him off his eyes go cross eyed! Within a couple minutes they go back to normal, but hes cross eyed for a few minutes! Anyone else have that happen to there CD?

The best catch dog we ever had was cross eyed but it was all the time. Not just when he caught. But we've had a few that get real bloodshot and puffy after catching. I always figured it was caused from breaking tiny blood vessels in the eyes from biting down so hard.

Hunted with a guy quit a few time with a bulldog named guardrail, he would catch so hard that the blood vesssels in his eyes would bust and looked like he was bleeding tears.

Yes sir my catchdogs eye lids turn purple or blue after he catches
