Hey dallas22 i'm in the same boat, green as a tree frog and i am limited on the number of dogs i can have within the city limits. I know the positions just need the right breeds/crosses etc. 2 strike dogs, 2 running catch dogs and one lead in catch dog. 3 on the ground with the other 2 as back up.

I'd say the best bet is get you a catch dog and hit the woods and get the dogs out as much as you can just to see what you got to work with. Don't do like I see a bunch of people do and I done myself and that is put your dogs in a bay pen day after day that will ruin a dog woods time is the only way to make a dog.
You don't really know what you need if you don't know what you got. So my advise is figure out what you got in the two you have and go from there.
Good luck! It work justa fair warning!
