How many dogs do you run at one time?

Run three or four at a time . They don't run loose we keep them in the box until we pull the cable. Also depends if it's a double box or if it doesn't have a divider

The way we hunt them is driving around until we see one running in the open and we drive like heck and get as close as we can and slam on the brakes. Then pull the cables that open the doors and the race is on. You just have to be careful where you run them because washouts and rough terrain can cripple them pretty easy. If you have any more questions I would be happy to answer them

Thank you all for the input. I have just general knowledge on it, from being quiet and reading and watching videos of experienced folks, but I am always wanting to learn as much as I can. I've had experience handling greys over the years when I was a Vet Tech in FL, we were the primary vet for one of the local tracks, so I know of common racing injuries, but not in the coyote hunting aspect. I know they get teeth in 'em, I'm talking more of the injuries they can aquire from the running. This is something I would really enjoy doing, and after this weekend, I will be up to two Stags and two Greys. Any tips of any sort you can think of? I've got a good friend that lives up in Missouri who runs Stags and Lurchers on coyote. I'm hoping to make a short trip up there later in the year to go along with her and observe. I've been seriously bitten by the long dog bug, lol. So much fun with these dogs....
