I don't think that the astro handhelds have that option but I believe the alpha's do.

If you know if the garmin handheld still has battery, get a collar that is on the handheld, walk around and turn the collar on and off and listen for a beep!

man I couldn't tell you, I just know that I've seen some other guys on here say that they can track each others alpha handhelds. I think it may have been mike that was saying that but I really don't remember for sure. |

I hope you do find it, if you do there is a way you can set
it up to beep every 2-5 minutes I dropped mine plenty of
times and I would just listen for the beep, its annoying when
on you but it is the best sound when you lose it and find it..
Had mine since 07 haven't lost it yet..

this was discussed on here and I believe said it was possible, try searching on here. I believe someone contacted garmin and they told him how, and he posted it.

Guys thanks a bunch I found it I had my garmin and my cousin had his last night and we got in to pigs like crazy was a great night every thing was working perfect and when we killed the 4th hog and he said o crap my garmin I know right there what he meant he would loose his head if it wasent for his neck anyways I got home and started think wait my garmin will tell us were we walked and sure enough I had to walk a lot again today just to find it but I got it thanks again guys
