Had the antenna ripped out, does the part where the collar runs through pop off to replace the antenna or should I just leave it alone?

Plastic on back side of collar has 2 screws that holds it on the collar. Remove screws then u have 1 screw that holds antenna to collar. It has a lil rubber plug over it.
