Anyone breed these? Had a good dog that was supposed too be out of bear/lion dogs from the Houston area or down south. Can't get a answer from the guy I got him from. Just wondering if anyone breeds them and has had any luck.

to answer your question lt  , there are probably as many plottahoula's out there as any other breed . my first indever with crossing my cat's to some hound blood was with my plott gyp bell . and as a result I never looked back .   the cross gave me just what I was looking for in my dogs in a hurry . I've used them anywhere's from 50/50 to 3/4 hound blood and it works for me .  but and I must repeat but just any ol cat bred to any ol plott will get you nothing , you must breed to respectable dogs to begin with and them hope like heck it clicks .

Buster was long range and colder nosed. Dang good trail dog. Probably longer now since he's chasin pigs up in the clouds.

But yeah halfbreed the dog worked for me and I've heard it does for others so just trying too see what I can get my hands on too either start or hunt.
