I have a dc30 collar im having some problems with. While its on the charger it shows its charging but as soon as i unplug it it dies. Should i send in to garmin or buy a new battery? Anyone else ever had this happen?

I would venture to say the battery is shot. Get u a new battery n c if that fixes it. If u have a battery+ in ur area, they usually hav them in stock n at a reasonable price

Yes I would try the battery first. Probably cheapest place is on ebay and you can get em pretty quick. I just tried it on one of my dc 40's because it would not power on but battery was not the problem had to send it in to the nice folks at garmin that replaced it for free. Even prepaid shipping
