Not sure if I'm calling it by the right name. I saw one once at a dog pound. They would fill it up and when they wanted dog food they just had to place there bucket under it and pull a handle. I'm building new kennels and would like to fill them up so it would be easier to take care of my dogs for my family while I'm at work.

Thanks for the links Dirty Dave. I have never seen these but think I may have to invest in a few of them since I can't find anything fully automated...

I have no idea on brand or name but u remember some metal ones that has a door the dog pushed open and the feed was in a lil trough. It had a narrow slot toward the back that allowed the feed into trough.

Hit atwoods in magnolia they have them and in different sizes I think some 12lb up to 30lb or so maybe more and I think they were cheaper. I looked at them the other day for the same reason

The hopper I was asking about is one that stores dog food and you open a gate or door and it fills up a bucket. Not the ones that feed your dogs by gravity as they eat. Thanks
