I have a 5-5.5yo cur hound cross strike dog gyp, she is what id call medium range 300-800 yards in no sign. I have seen her go .75 to a mile just hunting. She does bark on track seems like more at night than during the day. I have hunted her off fourwheelers at night and horses during the day. She has a great handle. I have not seen her trash at all. The guy I bought her from says she hasn't trashed on him. She has been around cows and deer with me and haven't had any problems. She works a track slower than what im used to. She has a pretty good nose on her. Once she lines it out she pushes the track pretty decent speed wise. I have no problem showing her in the woods. It will be close to the end of the month before im back home. Or I can do a trial, only way ill do a trial is if you come to my house and pick the dog up, so you know where to bring the dog if she doesn't appeal to your liking.
