I don't know if this has been thought of, or mentioned before, or if they have it already. But it would be nice if they had a walky talky on my garmin, so I could talk back and forth with my guy I'm hunting with. All in one hand held that way I don't have to carry so much stuff.

Buford, I sure like it. maybe one day they will put it on the Alfa system. Right now, I carry phone, 320, tritronics remote & sometimes a 2 way radio.

If garmin can make a gps/2way radio, then it shouldnt b hard to put that technology in the alpha or even the 320s since the 2way/gps looks like the astro already. I was thinking that same thing back a yr or so ago too with intergrating the 2 units

I'm sure Garmin has thought of that and more.  They will improve and improve so we continue to buy.  If they put all they had in one package now, we as consumers wouldn't need the "next" thing.

How about adding a camera/video option so that we dont have to carry phones/go pro with us to take pics.

I still think they should try to master tracking my dogs as it claims on the box before expanding into an electronic swiss army knife.  Cheesy

lol  I can only laugh at the thought of folks wanting all these gizmo's wrapped up in one unit . you soon will have to have a pack mule to carry the power source on  .

What about a mic to talk into and speaker on the collar to talk to your dogs,

I bet Halfbreed & a few others remember the days when we pulled up to a place in a truck, let the dogs out & all we carried was a pocket knife, one leash for the bulldog & tie rope & we walked all day.

The reason I go hunting is so I can have some alone time.  I don't want to talk to anyone.  LOL  Had a few good hunting buds and I enjoy hunting with my wife and kids from time to time but to tell the truth, my favorite is alone with just me and the dogs.

My dogs always seem to do better or at least in my stories they done better.  LOL
