Nope my dogs won't bother any animals and are completely trash broke except for chickens. Not sure why there is so much land for them chickens to roam but they love to get into my kennels. It's a one time mistake. Lol

We had an old dog when I was growing up that hated snakes and lightening. He killed countless snakes, he got bit 3 or 4 times by rattlesnakes and a couple by copperheads in the process.

Paw n law had a Jack Russel/ Rat Terrier that was hell on any snake that he found. He killed countless snakes  he would bay them a minute and get them striking, and then snatch them up and shake them to death.

when I was a kid my dogs killed many a snake...we hunted everything wild that could be caught including all snakes...I knew what the dogs had bayed by the tone of their barks...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog...
