I have Astro 320 and 3 DC 50 collars bought in October of 13. Have had 2 collars quit for good on back too back hunts. Bought a T5 to replace the first before the 2nd quit it gets better reception than the 50's. Does the Alpha 100 and the TT15's get better reception than the 320 and DC 50's? How is the Alpha as far as reliability and longevity?

I love my alpha and tt15s they have never quit me and have a lot more range. I sure wouldn't go back to the astro once I used this.

I recently bought an Alpha and 5 TT 15's. Two of the TT 15's are in the mail to Garmin right now, for warranty replacement. Two out of 5 quitting in less than two months is not good in my opinion but Garmin assured me my bad luck in not normal for the TT 15 collars so we'll see but even with the bad luck I have had the range and communication is FAR superior to the 320 I had. If I can all my collars working right it will be a ton better. IMO
And the battery life on both the Alpha 100 and the TT 15's is amazing. I can hunt 2-3 days on a charge.
