Now that deer season is over our river place around 3000 a. Is open for us to hunt. So we loaded up the dogs and headed out.  It was muddy so we took the four wheeler we was coming off the mountain when Clyde our new hound pup opened up. Jus a short chop , I told chance he was jus excited and was being open a little , and i was mad bout it. When all the dogs took off in the same direction. Sam was running 334 yards out he opened up and we new he was looking at one. They crossed the river went up the side of a mountain, we waited but that pig beat my dogs running the brush. We gathered up everyone and hunted the river bottom at a feeder the dogs got piggy so we waited. Spot and Sam took the lead 225 yards they both open up in a creek, Creeksus , yellow, and Clyde respond to them. U could hear them working together knew we had a good bay going. We got within 85 yards couldnt see them heard Creeksus caught cause the pig was squealing. We cut Diesel and Chico to them and headed down the creek bank. It was very steep on both sides so we kinda slid on down, we ran the creek 80 yards to our catch dogs. Nice sow pushing 200 , started pulling dogs when Sam opened up 95 yards away bayin strong. Creeksus Yella spot and Clyde responded to him. We was still tieing up the first sow when we heard Creeksus catch again.. We got the first pig secured and headed to the next, the briers was so thick it jus wrapped around ur legs making it hard to move. Chance got to them first and there was a 4 foot drop off down into the water. He cut Chico loose and jumped the pig was swiming with dogs on its head in chest deep water, chance twisted his ankle when he jumped but got there and stabbed this little sow round 130. By this time the cold front moved in and we was freezing, took us a while to drag out that one but we got it done. We loaded up, chance took his boots off cause they was full of water and we started out on the road when a boar pushing 250 jus walked out in front of the truck. The dogs was going nuts in the trailer , I said to cut a bulldog loose but chance tried to hit it with his truck lol, he could have smacked it with his door but we watched it jus walk back into the woods. His foot had swelled up and couldnt walk very well, Guess we will try him next time. It was one of many crazy nights we have had in the last five years hunting these damn pigs.

Creeksus caught in the water
