Woke up early Saturday morning and geared up Fred, Lady(2yr old Fred x Soka pup), JR (1yr old Zig x Pistol pup), And Doodle (PJ's half sister). Took a ride out towards Sulphur Springs and met up with JeffTBH and DallasTBH. BenTBH followed me out there. Got a spot Jeff picked up cause a land owner has been getting torn up bad. We've hit the spot a few times, and come up dry... So it was about time we found out where they've been hiding. Cut the dogs loose and off they went. We got down to the bottoms and the dogs got piggy. Fred and Lady came bayed pretty good about 400yrds out so we head in. We got within 100 or so yards and I cut Doodle loose, and Jeff let Domino go right after that. The curs got thrown before the CDs could get there and off to the races we went... This big old boar hog comes barreling out of the thicket about 20ft from Dallas and I and jumps the 12ft wide creek in one leap. The heads up the banks and comes 2-4ft from running Jeff and Ben over. That boar hog took Fred and Lady about 2miles and ran em through a sounder of smaller hogs I guess... By the time we got back to the truck they were almost 3 miles away as a crow flys. We headed to em and got within 100yrds and cut the CDs loose. Caught hog. Got that one taken care of and as we are heading out of the thicket into an open field Ben spots two hogs just walkin... So we made sure the dogs saw em all and cut everyone of em loose again. One split off and JR followed it, but couldn't line it out... Fred and Lady lined one out and got it stopped. Sent the CDs in and another caught hog. Helluva morning 2 hogs down and was done by 1030. Couldn't be happier for Lady right now... She makes me more happy every time I take her into the woods.  Plus just realized Fred is pushing 8yrs old so I'm glad the old man still has it. JR did real well too. He got in on all of the bays and isn't afraid to put some teeth on em. Here are some pics of the day...
