Went out the other morning for a hunt with a buddy and my dogs Gator, Blaze, and Clyde. Get to the woods and get ready to cut the dogs loose when I notice the collars are not syncing with my Astro!! Have to delete all collars and reprogram then!! Finally get to cut the dogs loose.

We hunt for about 30min and are cutting through a palmettoe flat trying to stay close to the dogs that are out 850yds away! Pop out on a fire break trail and check the Garmin. While standing there we hear something coming throuh the palmettoes to the trail were on! My dogs are still 600yds away, so I felt it was a hog trying to get away! My bulldog can hear the hog coming and it pops out on the trail about 50yds in front of me. Clyde see's him so I cut him to the hog and the race is on!! The hog smokes Clyde to another palmettoe flat!! Damn!! Now Clyde is going to show me how much hunt he has for a bulldog and stays gone for 30min!! After chasing him around I see that the dogs are back at 850yds!

Heading their way when we get about 350yds away we hear a good fight!! Get to about 100yds away, following the walking fight through the thick palmettoes when I cut Clyde to the dogs! Of course once I do that there is no more noise from the dogs fighting the hog. Get to where the dogs jumped the boar and it smelled like a horse barn!! Rank old Boar Hog!! Need to grab Clyde again when we hear a caught hog squalling! Clyde boggeys to them and when we get there they have caught a nice colorful boar hog, but not the stinky one they were fighting!

He was a neat looking color.
I had my friend with me who got steam rolled by the sow. I made him hold the hog while I took the dogs to the tree. He said my bulldog was getting nippy at him when he was putting him on the tree, so I wanted to stop that right now. No problems with Clyde. My buddy was all worked up and scared being left on the hog!! Lol..Need to teach him more respect for handling a hog!!  Got some good film of him being all up tight handling the hog in the thick palmettoes!! Thinking the hog was going to get up, and the dogs still grabbing and pulling the hog around!! Funny stuff!! All over his Facebook page!! Lol....
