Just checked my local weather forecast and they are calling for a "cool" front to come through the first of the week. It is supposed to be 64 degrees here Wednesday morning with a high of 85 degrees. Me and my dogs won't know how to act!!! It may even kill the grass in the yard if it gets that cold!! Been so long since it got below 80 degrees at night, everything may go into shock! ![Shocked](http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) I can tell you one thing though......if it starts cooling off, the hogs better watch out as we will be hard after them!! I have one year old female and my two 6 month old pups to start, so we will definately be hitting the woods every chance we get. Anybody else getting any cooler weather yet??

Crackerc, I am just a bit north of you here in SC and it has been cooling off just enough that it is barable. I will be darn glad to see temps in the 60s.

I can imagine yall would be glad to see that. I left on a cruise last year out of port canaveral at the end of october and it was still pretty darn warm down there.
I know there is a lot of real hoggy looking country between Savanah and there.

It got down to into the low 60's a couple of nights this past week... we hunted one of them. The dogs tongues didn't even hang out there mouths. ![Grin](http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/Smileys/default/grin.gif) It was back up to 92 today and tomorrow ![Huh?](http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/Smileys/default/huh.gif) ... but it won't be long now. ![Grin](http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Seems there has always been a lot of hogs along the east coast from Savannah south. I knew a guy that hunted around the Cape and he was always catching hogs and some good ones too. I guess they had a problem with them getting out on the runway for the Space Shuttle at times so they wanted them thinned out.
I guess the hogs are fairly populated all the way down south from Savannah along the coast almost to Miami.......I hunted between the St. Johns River and the east coast and there were quite a few hogs in that area.
Cooler weather is only a distant memory for me right now......come on cool fronts!!
