Well "shoot the moon doggin" entered up. Started out Friday night, I seen 2 good hogs and 1 giant on the way to work Friday. Me, Clayton, Brent, Jeffery, and claytons brother in law Chris went were I'd seen em that morning and turned loose. 10 minutes after turn out we had a decent board hog caught(205#), dogs went another 100yds and hammered down we sent 3 bulldogs and good thing we did. They had a monster of a boar hog caught and he was dragging em across the field, luckily Brent has some long legs and he was able to run it down and grab him by the tail to help slow his pace. We were all hot on brents trail and made it there pretty quick. He ended up weighing 288# after being in the trailer 2 days. We called it a night with that. Saturday we didn't do to good, caught some small hogs and missed some good ones. Sunday the luck turned and we ended up catching another good boar hog(206#) and a couple smaller ones. Ended our weekend with 10 hogs total, not to bad for the weather we hunted in. Only 8 would walk the scales so our total on 8 hogs was 1,349. Think we ended up in 4th just outta the money. However we did win biggest boar hog and took home a plaque and alittle change in our pocket. All in all we hunted hard behind great dogs with good men. We had a blast and the hunt was ran great. Here is our team and the boar hog we caught, didn't take to many pics and didn't get a real good one of the big hog.

Yeah, Shoot the Moon did really good at this year's hunt.  That was a nice boar, glad you all won some $$ on him.  Thanks for coming to the hunt and turning in your hogs!!  Hope to see all you next year.

No sir thank y'all for putting on the hunt, really enjoyed it and can't wait till next year. for those that missed it, well you missed out. Good food and a fair hunt couldn't ask for anything more aside from the weather.
