One of my close friends got a new job and decided to sell out, it was good for us cause he cut me a hell of a deal..... I have hunted behind this dog before knew he has some problems but I was willing to take him in. Peewee is two old  not been hunted a lot but is a cold nose dog (cat/blue tick).. He is open on track not something I was looking for but he is not to load with his low tone old man rough voice lol.

Picking him up this gives us a total of five long range dogs, so for kicks we loaded up to try this combo out. Driving down the highway (281) the dogs open up going crazy sure enough a group of pigs where moving cross the road, almost makes u want to dump them but I don't hunt places that are not mine and no permission so we continued on to our spot. We was already pumped and knew it was gonna be a good night. Pulled in dropped Tank, Spot, Clyde, Sam and Peewee. The dogs are hunting hard ranging good when Peewee open up on track, a split second later u here tank, Sam, spot and Clyde baying up. Problem is there are three different bays going on at the same time... We listen , u can here pigs grunting babies squealing.. On the gps Sam Clyde and spot are together so we choose to go to that bay first. They are 600 yards out , get the catch dogs ready head in when the dogs pulled off came by us running... We knew then it was small and dead for them to leave and run another track.

So we get gathered up and head towards the dogs, and they are moving out

This is where this story gets interesting, we didn't make it to the other two spots where we had bays cause now all the dogs are tuning the same track out.. So I'm pretty sure the dogs killed more than this little pig I took a pic of. At .7 miles I had two dogs peel off Tank my BMC and Clyde my young walker hound we pick them up and continue on... Peewee is leading the pack and Spot is one tenth behind him .. Sam my Plott is starting to fall off at 2.8 miles out.

By now our dogs are off our land and crossing god knows who's land. We have to get on the highway and start paralleling them headed the same direction. Along the way we pick up Sam and still chasing spot and peewee.

We finally get within 900 yards of them and it shows they are treed. This really sucked cause now I have two dogs that struck on my place and now treed on another place. Right now I could care less bout the pig and jus worried bout retrieving my dogs safely. Chance heads toward them with one catch dog, I can here him calling to them to call off.. I'm at the truck with everyone else. He got within 125 yards to them dogs still bayed and he said it was sold briers  u couldnt move though tied up Chico and continue to call them off our little spot dog came to him then after a few Peewee. And he walked them out off that place letting the pig go... Course I was disappointed that they worked so hard on that pig but understood we was on someone else's place.. Did learn a valuable lessons unless u want to hunt all night long don't run five long range dogs all at once lol...
