Casey and I went up and hunted around the air port in Huntsville last Sunday. It turned into a solid little hunt with some good colored hogs. I think we had Briar, Jett, ruby, joe, Goose, Lexi and lady. We've been battling kennel cough pretty rough and these were about the only dogs in all of them that could hunt. Jett showed out again and slipped off and bayed a wad of hogs about a half mile out. We headed to them and before long we had them scattered out. Caught a few shoats and the dogs split with briar and lady baying a good red sow. Goose, joe and briar rolled off and bayed another boar hog while lady fell in with the other dogs. About an hour later they finally sat a good spotted boar down. Think we caught 6 and picked up some new good country to hunt on top of it.       We had some hellacious storms come through Sunday night. It knocked the power out at my house and it's still out. I was only scheduled to work half a day at my gym so I got my noon class covered and got Casey to come over. I had seen a boar hog feeding in a pasture the night before and we were going to try and slip in and catch him. We were right up next to hwy 75 and I know they will occasionally cross so we just turned a couple out. Didn't want to turn any of the harder hunting dogs out right off the bat. I walked Lexi and weezy Into the block, while Casey carried jet, ruby, stitch, Jed & jack around to the back.. The black dogs finally trailedin and bayed a wad. Casey dumped ruby and Jett and it was on. In about 15 min we had 4 pigs caught and 4 hogs tied. For the next 6 hours we pretty much stayed in them. We took a small break around 430 and moved just down the road and started a few more. Right at dark Casey walked in and caught a big sow with Jed, Lexi and skeeter. Of course they rolled off and left again when we were wanting to get out of there. Finally about 9 they were still running so we called them out and headed home. We tied 12 hogs and the dogs caught 7 pigs in the 5-10# range. 19 total. Not bad for a midday turnout in late April              Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Good hunts fellas! What's the story on the leopard dog? Got her From caughtandhobbled probably 6-7 years ago. Lead in catchdog. Straight ear, catches like a bull dog. Have to break her off and hardly ever gets cut because she walks with big hogs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
