Hadn't posted nothin for us since we hunted montys hunt so here's what we've had goin on. Couple weeks ago Clayton went on a pleasure hunt with his brother in law, wife, and almost his daughter but she decided to stay and play with my little boy so they went at it with out her. They ended up catching 3: a small sow, a small boar hog, and a real nice Barr hog. Clayton had a time with Barr and ended swimming after him in a slew and having to drown him. Ended up coming to my house to get help to drag him out. He got skinned and I made breakfast sausage the other nightclayton and his brother in law.
We also made alittle run Sunday, mostly with pups and Brent's new bulldog he wanted to try. Tried 1 spot and caught this lil boar hog roaming around, added him to the Barr population. didn't di to much after that so loaded up and hit another spot up the road and ended up with 3 more. Nothin to big we ended up adding a couple to the Barr population and got some good puppy work. My little "whopper" pup really made me proud. 2nd time to the woods and showing lots of potential, owe a thanks to Brent for letting me get him out of his wayno and baby girl breeding.me, Brent, and whopper.

"Whopper" is out of Brent's male dog "wayno" who is a kemmer cur/ybmc/bulldog cross I believe that's right. He's a jam up dog, longe range, seems to stop lots of hogs. hes the yella dog.
"Baby girl" is his momma, she's a very good gyp. Super longe range, lots of energy, hits the ground running and is gone type of dog. Don't have a pic of her but she's out of line of dogs from an older man over in east Texas. I picked whopper from the start he was kinda small and looked like a coyote when I brought home, but here lately he's started to fill out and looks to have the potential to be a good dog. Time will tell he's still under a year old.
