I am only 18 years old and already got alot of experience of hog hunting under my belt plus i got my own bulldog which i got on my second year of hunting.. I have caught plenty of hogs many big ones and I have hunted for about 5 years and where i work at i have talked to some people and they said they have never heard of hog hunting. I work at a lumber store that is. Now would any of yall let a teenager go hunting with yall. Now i aint askin to go with you because i already go with someone im just askin about just any teenager go with yall.

I take kids all the time! If they have an interest their not going to learn any younger! I believe that all kids need a chance to learn about hunting!

Sure, as long as they are willing to LEARN and don't know it all already. I have two that hunt with me regularly. They both have made top hands in the woods and are capable of making intelligent decisions when the going gets ruff. If I can't go, they can take my dogs without me.

Age isnt very imporant. I would have no problem taking a younger guy hunting. Like Richard said, we have been 18 and know it alls. Just have to know when to leave it at the door. There are quite a few young guys on here that have been doing it alot longer then most of the older people.

We got a teenager from Weimar that hunts with us pretty regularly. He is a great hand= good common sense, willing to help and strong as an ox, all three things my brother lacks but Daniel makes up for. He is only 17 but you would never guess it from talking to him.

Age is not a problem. We take kids, with us along on most hunts, and if you are 10 plus younger than me I still call you a kid. It is the attitude that dictates whom is allowed to go along and which ones get invited to go along more than once. Many folks that now have their own dogs and catch alot of hogs caught their first hog with us. I hope to continue teaching and exposing new folks to the sport of hunting with dogs. Open, Eager, and willing young minds that have good manners will be the first ones to get invited.

i hunt with a 19year old girl and she is a top hand better than some guys i have hunted with. ashley campbelll is her name.has some jam up dogs to lilly and grim. go look at the hog we caught in the sudan...

Take lots of kids alll the time, including my own and land owners kids. Age doesnt matter same rules apply, be respectful, listen, learn, ask before you do.

I'll definately take a teenager on a hunt with me and my pack! If my uncles or friends turned me down I do not have any clue what I would be into nowadays. If they can carry their own weight and have the hunt in them then I have no problem bringing them along and like my uncles always told me " if you're younger you get to pack the pig home!"

Im only 19 but ive taken some kids out huntin. Some i would take again in a heartbeat and some never again. Alot of teenagers are just smart azz know it alls.

I take my own rugrat all the time, he's trying to get me to give him a couple dogs. I will take a teenager with me, I enjoy taking my buddies kid from work with me, he busts his butt and does not expect to be guaranteed a kill just because we are using dogs.

im 19 and have been hunting by myself for 4 years now and everyone wants to hunt with me lol . i think anyone would take you hunting mate or any teenager cause everyone tries to get there kids involved and just tries to get any young kid out hunting for a good experience and it is a good experience . better then sittin home bein bored lol

I have two boys, age 14 and 10, that hunt with me on about 75% of my hunts. They help tend the dogs at home and each have a pup of their own that we are going to start this winter. They both listen vary well to whatever they are told to do by me or Paul, and will do whatever needs done. The oldest is big enough to handle my catch dog, and knows when to cut her loose, but always asks before he does it. We have also taken several of their friends with us many times.

Our future in hunting may be in jepordy. Our heritage as we know it could change. It is very important to get our young people interested in hunting and fishing and keep them interested. I live in southwest Louisiana and my hunting partner and I make it a priority to take kids hunting with us. There are two young teenage boys (not ours) who hunt with us on a regular basis. I also take my 9 year old daughter with me hog hunting on occasion. Last year she killed her first and second deer on our hunting lease when she was 8. We strongly encourage other hunters to get kids involved. In my profession nothing gives me a warmer feeling that to see a dad with his kids out hunting or fishing.
