I have a astro 220 with short range antenna that i run with dc 40 collars and it will not track the collars over 110 yards and then looses communication. I have long range antennas on the dc 40's but do not why it looses communication so close??

broken wire on 220 from bottom of antenna connector to board is my guess

I had to update both the handheld and the collar about two months ago it was doing the same thing yours was doing.

I have a 320 now but never had problems with my 220 but its probably the collar that needs to be updated
