I wasn't on this hunt, but wanted to show these two pics because you don't get ones like this very often. This was about two weeks ago. Both of the cur dogs shown caught on the hog I sold for one of my hunting partners last week at Uncle Earls. They hunted pretty good for year old dogs, but were just too catchy for his pack. As can be seen by the scars in the pic, the dog on the left had been cut no telling how many times. They struck this boar and he ran a good ways. When they finally caught up, the two curs had him caught basically in the open. These will make some good dogs for someone with a rough pack. Both full cur's and the one with a little blood showing usually had to be broken off. Hog weighed 180.

That is good hog to be cought with just cur dogs. I would have sold them too, those dogs can tend to get the rest of the pack cut down quick. Really good pics though!

...and just as a note, we CLEARLY let the buyers know what they were getting. They seemed happy with their purchase and we exchanged phone numbers to keep up with their progress.
I've only sold one dog in the past, and I don't want to start now having my name associated with a dog someone's not happy with.

I guess I should have said that "for the type of dogs I like to run" that I would have sold those two also. Some LOVE super rough dogs and those will be the best thing since sliced bread for their pack. Wasn't trying to make it sound like you were peddling dogs that were worthless or dangerous, you were just placing the dog in a pack where his skills would be appreciated a little more, nothing wrong with that at all.

No problem. I understood what you meant in your first post, Matt. I've been burned before and am very particular about the whole buying / selling dogs process, and almost hate to post period that I "sold" a dog (which actually wasn't even mine! )
