SwineStopper, I call those "Dog Rippers" less than an inch and razor sharp. Usually won't go deep enough to kill or severely damage vital organs, but will, just about dehide a dog and rip thru outer muscle like a razor knife.

I’ve experienced those before joe, just not often on a sow. We catch fairly regular... just have a lot of running hogs on those 2 leases. We got a big boat around Christmas that didn’t make a mark on anything   Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Good hogs, good friend of mine had a jam up catch dog get killed by a sow with teeth about that size, severed a main artery in his leg and he bled out before they could get him situated....

We have caught several big sows by the house that had some pretty good teeth caught one 4 or 5 years ago that cut up 3 dog almost neutered a yellow male I had at the time
