Just keep her on anti's and help her keep it clean.  She will keep it pretty clean my licking it. Might want to consider taking her to the vet if it cut deep into Muscle, Dont want it to heal up wrong.  Just my Two cents

It's probably worth getting it checked out. Sometimes deep cuts need to be stitched from the inside out using dissolving sutures, sometimes all they need is a little help with hydro, but it'd be better to find out than to guess wrong.  Shocked

My blue dog took a bad lick about 4 months ago on the inside of his back left leg. I didn't have anything to stitch him so I just put him in the kennel and let it heal. As long as the dog can lick it, it should be alright. His cut was bad, I could fit 3 fingers in it and it was through 2 layers of muscle. You can't even tell he has been cut now.  I wouldn't staple it, if its to deep, it could absess. Just let it heal from the inside out.
