Had a helluva time out in the beautiful Texas Hill Country the past several days with Mr. Jesse Paul aka LionandBoarHunter. We caught 21 hogs including 5 toothy boar hogs. It was all sows at first, but finally got into some boars on the last two hunts. I even got to shoot a little sweet meat to throw on the grill. Thanks again for everything cowboy... can’t wait till the next trip.

Some real nice solid hooks in that lot, Good stuff.
Nice mix of hounds also.
Do you have a preference with the time of day or night to hunt ?

Cheers

Dom, I prefer to turn out at daylight and let the dogs trail the hogs to their beds. But, a lot of times we won’t even find them until late morning or midday. I used to night hunt all the time... I don’t really care for it anymore.

Yeah thanks for your reply Mike.
Down here we might start after dark and go all night till the next morning or visa versa. All depends on weather and location.
Terrific hunt fellas and a great clip LionandBoarHunter.

Looks like a great time, and some really good hogs. Are those 2 dogs yours in the picture with the nice spotted hog, Mike?
