Looking to use it as a flea preventative with python purple tags and hitting my yard with permethrin and bifenthrin. I’m alittle late and they’re already pretty bad. Seems like most hit them at a cc per ten pounds. Has anyone using its dogs pop up with organ failures, cancer or other things.

I have been using it for 4 or 5 years and so far nothing negative.

Same, no negative affects. I max out at 5ml even if the dog is over 50 lbs.  works great

I used it twice 5 yrs ago when I had an infestation and my dogs regularly came into contact with other folks dogs. It knocked out every flea in the yard.

That coincided with a change in life which pretty much isolated my yard.

Since then I have never had a flea in the last 5 years.

I suspect I would have periodically had to use it if my yard would have still been run with other folks digs with fleas so my experience is novel at best on long term exposure to the product.

I still have 90% of the original product left that I paid 100$ for. But I had fought fleas years previous to that change. It was 100% worth it for me.

But long term lingering affects in my case would be anecdotal…

That is not worded right…

Long term effects for me are null because I did not have to use it long term.

But short term I had no affects on the dogs and killed every flea I had and had been fight after two doses in a month and half or there about.

I stress, ‘never had’ not ‘one flea’ since….

Just to add, that change also allowed
Me to knock out the tapes that came along with the fleas that was a constant transfer from other folks yards that I had battled along with fleas for the decade prior to 5 years ago.

So while I still fight round worms which  encyst in dogs and females pass them on when whelping and I also feed raw game, I haven’t had a tape or a flea in 5 years

I’m got a 7 year old gyp had 10cc put down her back every 4-6 months since a year old. No affect on her besides no fleas or ticks.

I gave mine 1cc/ml per ten lbs by mouth. They don’t wanna eat it but a generous slather of bacon grease on bread fold over with the conserve will coax em

Cheston I know we already talked about it, but I’ll post in here anyways so that other guys can see this info if they’re searching…

I’ve used it since 2018 or 2019 with no problems. I do 1ml/cc per 10lbs, and I give it orally. Dogs do not like the flavor so I put it on a slice of white bread, then fold the bread in half and feed it to them before giving them their regular bowl of food. I use a large string and pull the plunger out so I can pour the Conserve in the back of it with my finger plugging the tip, then I just move my finger to drizzle it on the bread. It’s thick so you need a big 20ml syringe with a large tip (not a Luger-lock). In my experience you can go a little heavy on the dosage with no issues. I’ve given an extra 1ml to 40-50lb dogs with no issues.

We’ve been using it for the past 3-4 years with Great results for fleas however, we’ve noticed our gyps have not been coming in heat as often.  Are you guys noticing any issues with females coming in heat after using conserve sc?

I have started using it a year or so ago with no ill effects and have only dosed 1 time. I dose the same as everyone else 1cc per 10# orally and did a little research and found it’s safe for pups 12 weeks of age. I’ve tested it and no ill effects. From what I’ve been able to read the active ingredient is the same as nearly every flea med you would get from the vet. I believe the difference is the dose we give when self medicating our dogs compared to the single dose the vet would sell you and again every month there after. I would be interested in seeing if anyone has had problems with there bitches cycling as I have not so far.
