I had to take my wife to DFW so she could go spend time with her family in Hawaii, a friend gave me an invite for a quick round since I was going to be in the area. Drop her off at the terminal and away I go to the meet up. We go to spot right by his house with one of his older bay dogs a few young up and comers and a young pit, plus my three.
We turn out and it wasn’t but a minute or two and we had a sounder of what looked like 20/30 head, dogs get to chasing and they cross right in front of us, a little while later they catch the caboose. We gather them back up and they get after some of the scattered hogs, it sounded like they had a bay in the creek but it blew up by the time we got there.
Not much after that, it was a fun little morning and a good training exercise for the young dogs.

Sounds like a lot going on all at once. I’m glad you’re getting to put your dogs on some pork.

Yes sir, it was a busy morning and a lot of fun. It’s always good to see the young dogs get some reps in and develop as they go. Thanks T dog, the weather is just the way I like it now, I’m trying to get them in the woods three times a week if possible.
