These are my pups that I got from Red79.  They're 1/2 Catahoula 1/2 Blackmouth.  They love to run the woods and smell all the new scents, but I think they like the water even more.   laugh  The pup with the tan mussle is Scout and the one with a glass eye is Ranger.

Pups at 6 wks old

Pups at 3 months.  (Today)

Get Ahead Pups!   Cheesy

Just can't resist the water-Must be the catahoula in them lol

Thanks Guys!  Couldn't be more proud of them.  I thought they did really good too Brandon.  Can't wait till their hunting with the big dogs.  Cheesy  The way their acting, they cant either.  I'll bring them along slow and let them tell me when they're ready.

Thank yall all again for posting.  Red79-I dont really know of anyone right off hand, but if I do hear of someone I'll sure let them know.  How are the rest of the pups from this litter doing, or have you even started messing with them at all?

Worked the pups on a small pig that a buddy of mine caught in a trap.  The pig only weighs about 40 lbs.  I think they're ready for a little bigger pig.  They bay the he11 out of it but when the pig gives them a shot, they're gunna take it.  The blue lacy's are a buddy of mines.  My pups are now 5 1/2 months old and the Lacy's are about 5.  They're all coming along really nicely, just need alot of work and growing up.

We're trying.  It makes it alot easier that the pups already absolutely hate a pig.

Thanks.  One of them has something in his throat from the tall grass or maybe even some hog hair.  When I went to feed him this morning, I noticed he was gaggin but nothin came up.  His bark is different but his eyes look fine and he was ready to eat this morning.  What do yall think I should do?  Will he pass it on his own or should I take him to the vet?
